Outlook 2002 - Setting up POP3 email

"The operation failed. An object could not be found"

I am running Windows XP with IE7.

I have uninstalled and re-installed M$ Office and re-loaded all the updates.

I have set-up the email Account in Outlook as per the bt/Yahoo instructions and have successfully run the Test Send function. The Test Mail reaches my In-box on the Server. I have configured SMTP as required.

I am successfully receiving my mail via OE. So I have obviously done something wrong. As far as I can see, everything is spelled correctly and in the right place.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Now all I need is to discover what my old Profile was? I think

The new profile collects the mail.

But contains none of the information

For future use and to avoid your problem use MS Outlook Backup

If I were to back-up now, create a New Profile and then delete the Old Profile.

Would the back-up, I have just created, load into the New Profile or would it become an Orphan?
