Outlook 2000 tracking tab

Can anyone tell me why the e-mail tracking tab does not appear any more on my sent items.
It used to be there but now never seems to work.
Can it be turned on and off?
I always ask for a read receipt.
N.B. this is my office computer operating through a server if this makes any difference.

To be notified when messages are delivered
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Preferences tab.
3. Click E-mail Options and then click Tracking Options.
4. Select the Request a delivery receipt for all messages I send check box.
To be notified about a single message, click Options in the message, and then select Request a delivery receipt for this message.

Thanks Santos7 but I've already done this and it works.
However, there is supposed to be a "Tracking Tab" if you open the original message in the sent items folder. This tab then lists all activity relating to the e-mail in question. It is this tab that is not appearing now and it used to.

Thanks again
