Orange dropped connection.

Hi to all.

I am trying to help a friend out with their Orange/fsnet dial up internet connection that keeps being interupted by an incoming phone call that is not.

I spent a day clearing out and making their PC run smoother without locking up or re-booting. This I achieved and they are very pleased.

They are on Orange dial up anytime but another problem keeps happening and that is when you are either on the internet or email a little box pops up saying that you have ignored a phone call, a red cross is in the top right of the box and an "OK" button. Whatever you do it drops the connection.

Is there a way of turning this functon off as it is driving them mad?

We are at the moment trying to convert them to Orange Broadband which is available to them but when this problem persists it is making it hard work.

Thanks in advance.

IE - tools - connections tab - click on your dial up connection - settings - advanced - make sure BOTH Disconnect boxes are unchecked.

Thanks Fruit Bat but this has already been done.

It's the small box saying an ignored phone call that bugs me.
Is that part of Orange's ISP software or is it a standalone programe?
I cannot seem to find how to turn it off.
