Opening ports for muliplayer games

I am trying to open ports to allow multiplayer hosting on my computer.

I own Vista 32bit
Norton 360
and I run it through the Steam network
the game is called Killing Floors

it asks for ports, well look here click here

any help would be greatly appreciated :D

nope D: no worky, have too good of firewall on my comp, nothing gets in or out D: as far as multi game play

anyone else got an idea?

oh, i almost forgot, I use a D-Link router DIR-615

Are you saying port forwarding does not work? have you made sure UPnP is enabled in my second link?

bah never mind, I tried everything and it seems that my firewalls and my router and my poor comp skills seem to make this a bridge too far, thatnk you for your input and sorry your help didn't resolve my problem, but thank you for trying :D
