how do I get the image into a post on a forum?

I have a programme called MWSnap3

I installed it so that I could capture error messages and post them on help forums..I captured the error message, saved it, but for the life of me I cannot find out from the "Help" section, how to get it into a post on the forum.

Can anyone tell me in simple trems what to do, or is there an easier way of doing it than with a special programme.

I have Windows XP home if that is relevant.

You cannot post images to this froum, but you can post a link to the image.

First click here

Then Click 'Choose'.

Then find the image that you saved and select it.

Now click 'Open'.

Then Click 'Host it!'

Give it a few secons!

Now you'll have to choose the correct link for you to post it to this forum.

click here to see which link you'll need.

Right click the link and choose 'Copy'.

Now back on this forum in the message window right click and choose 'Paste'.

Now Click 'Post response'.

This froum will do the rest and people should be able to click a link and your image will be seen.

Easier than it looks!

to be uploaded you'll find information about how to do it in the forum itself - you'll be transferring the image to the server on which the forum is hosted, or to another server which hosts the images.

We don't permit images to be uploaded to this forum - in our experience it isn't usually necessary, can lead to abuse, can slow page loading, and consumes resources. Once you allow image uploading you tend to find that people do it just because they can, and I've seen some very inappropriate images sitting on web forums for days before anyon got around to removing them - we aren't going to go down that road.

however.F.E."s explanation on your thread above as to why direct images are a no-go makes sense:)
