Office 97 Wont Load

Hi I am running Win XP and I am unable to install MS Office 97.
At the end of the installation I get unable to finish HTMLMARQ.OCX.
I have googled the problem and need a free fix.
I have come across 30 day trial where I must leave my card Details but I am a little shy of doing this.
Any one know of a free fix for this registry problem.

Just a tip - never leave your card details for a Trial version of anything! Genuine Trials are always Free as far as I am aware.

Thanks Technotiger the link instructions worked ok for me, and now I have in stalled Office 97.
For the benifit of others here it is.
Hope it works for you.

In run type regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ Current Version \ Image File \ Execution Options

You should see htmlmarq.ocx and htmlmm.ocx separate keys.

Rename them to something else, ie. htmlmarq.tmp and htmlmm.tmp

Glad it worked for you - no need to retype for others to see here, all anyone else need do, is click on my link above, just as you did!

Thanks for your feedback.
