NTL splash screen removal

  [DELETED] 14:19 03 Apr 2003

I`m sure I`ve seen the answer to this before (when I didn`t need it) but can`t find anything by searching.......I have just installed NTL dial up on an old Win95 machine for a friend....no particular problems but how do I get rid of the annoying NTL splash screen which overlays the Win desktop on boot up. It serves no purpose (except plugging NTL)and disappears of its own accord eventually. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Life would be easier if you had msconfig but Win95 doesn't have it. click here

Thanks and sorry for the delay (I had to go out).

I`ll try uninstalling Gearbox first.

I agree with birdseye. I had this problem and I unistalled Gearbox and reconfigured Internet Options to take out NTL Home page. I use all about, and have ntl home page in my favourites should I ever want yo use it.
