I keep getting the message an application named nt kernal has been blocked from accessing the network it keeps flashing up in the bottom right hand corner of of my screen.What is it and how do I stop it appearing.

The NT Kernel is - as the name suggests - a central part of the OS; allow it and you won't get any of those messages.

To answer your question, I will need to know what firewall you use. I am assuming that it is your firewall that is generating these messages. Please confirm. Thanks.
