Despite trying everything to get the Yahoo toolbar to appear on my new PC (running XP SP2)
I finally received the solution from Yahoo!

Please click the start button on your task manager to run the registry
editor again. Select the "run" option from the pull-up menu. Type
"regedit" and click "OK".

1) Please select:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Bro
wseNewProcess

2) In the right pane, look for the value called "BrowseNewProcess". If
the value is "no", change it by double-clicking BrowseNewProcess. Then
type "yes" and click "return".

3) Reboot your computer.

4) If your Toolbar does not appear on your browser, please visit

and click on the link that says "Get Yahoo! Toolbar Now".

Please let us know if the Toolbar does not appear on your browser.

I had it installed, until I discovered it was this that was adding about 15 seconds to my computor boot up time, not a big deal I admit.
