  mujib 16:32 05 Dec 2003

I have a 80 gig disk drive which is partitioned into c:4 gig D:20 E:20 so on.I have nearly ran out on space on C drive which has windows xp running on it.Is there any way i can make C drive bigger by taking space from D drive and making C drive 8 gig without having to reinstall everthing?.I tried to use Drive Image 7 but when i make c dive 8 gig windows still thinks C drive is 4 gig. Please help.

Drive Image will not deal with partition sizes. You need Partition Magic, also by PowerQuest. This will do what you want.

Hi mujib. I think PartitionMagic is the product for this. You can download this for a free trial, but at 23MB this would take a long time on a dial-up modem click here. Trial or older versions of partitiom management software is also often available on magazine cover disks.
