Norton not uninstalling!

  shazadkashmir 17:46 25 May 2009

Hi everybody

Hope someone can help me
Im having problems uninstalling Norton 360 from my pc, as the subscirption has expired and have bought a fresh copy of Kaspersky.
When I uninstall it, the bar fills up but it doesnt actually finish the task, as I have had a time when I left my pc on all night and it was still running even though the bar was full (uninstallation bar).

Is there any programs or software I can use that wont go through the Norton uninstaller, but will have the desired effect?

The way I remove Norton suits is to download the appropriate removal tool then disconnect fron internet. Stop the firewall, AV etc fron it's control panel then run the removal tool and reboot.

Which solution worked for you shazad.. I have had remnants dotted around my system for ages, uninstalled all I can find but there is one little piece left.
