Norton Ghost Image Used for Replaced Hard Disk

  Scrivers 20:32 13 Jun 2005

Can Norton Ghost be used to back up/take image in case the hard disk fails. Will a Ghost image taken of the failed hard disk work with a new hard disk, probably larger and possibly a new spec e.g. parallel vs serial.

I do not know about the parallel/serial aspect, but there will be no problem in restoring the image to a larger hard drive, or even a partition on a new drive as long as there is enough space in the partition.
