If you need remote assistance use Crossloop click here Far better than the built in remote assistance. Just load it on both machines - works a treat and gets round the firewall problem quite easily.

think it will still be in Windows firewall which is part of Security Centre, I believe.

Is the reason you need remote assistance down to an already infected computer? Perhaps locking you out of Windows Firewall and the Internet as well?

Thanks for all of your replys...I think the problem is solved..i thin Norton was not allowing the windows program to connect
