Norton AV problem.

My PC was recently repaired by a professional engineer and in the process he had to uninstall and reinstall NAV. In october 2004 I had replaced NAV 2003 with NAV 2005 which I had downloaded and paid for but the only disc I had for him to reinstall was the original 2003 version. The subscription service shows that I am covered until Jan 2007. Is there any advantage in trying to get this upgraded to 2005 version without having to pay again. What difference is there between the 2003 and 2005 versions. I am getting the regular automatic updates. I also have the validation key provided by Norton at the time. Any opinions please (except the usual one of "dump Norton"). Many thanks.

Check your e-mails. There should be a link to re-download the 2003 to 2005 upgrade. If not, ontact Symantec.

Thanks for your reply Paul, there is no link in my email. Have tried to find a contact number for Symantec without success, do you know one please?
