I've got a new computer ,XP home, and have decided to go for unmetered access ( finally) Chose aol , bought NAV 2004 , and in the hand book it says it doesn't support aol's mail. Does this mean I have to go with outlook express with its notorious problems? Is there an antivirus that works with aol? Any help/advice appreciated.

numerous problems. AOL is a Spyware and its Real player software that is bundled in it also.

Not many reasonable Virus software's support the AOL mails, there is nothing wrong with Internet Explorer nor Outlook, you probably have has some configuration problems and its put you off for life.

There is Opera ?

All AOL mail is checked by AOL's own AV but having one of your own is still a good idea for scanning downloads etc.

Debonair's post is a tad confusing - "AOL is a spyware.........." eh?
