Non working screensaver

  Geoff28 21:49 14 Mar 2004

I am using Windows xp home edition and I am using a standard screen saver from the Windows selection. I have set the start time very short to test out my problem. Very frequently the screen saver does not come into action. Is it possible that either a virus checker or pop up killer is stopping my screen saver from working??

Would appreciate some advice

If the Screensaver is not coming on when it is suppose it is because something is keeping your computer active. What you can do is go to run and type in msconfig an take some programs out that you do not need to run in the startup. Ow ya make sure you go to Startup menu. Also can be some spyware causing it not to work, so i would recommend running Adaware or spybot to get rid of all problems. Both free downloads.
