I know why it is bad to download them but why your advice?

  anskyber 18:52 25 Feb 2006

Ah! there should be a comma after don't sorry stalion.

  anskyber 18:53 25 Feb 2006

rather as I should have put one after don't !!!

  stalion 18:54 25 Feb 2006

we get new members on here all the time who may not be aware of this situation and there is a thread in the helproom where someone has paid for winfixer and had to do a re-install and lost all files due to no back-up

Add `AdwareSheriff` to that list.

I had noticed the unfortunate lack of a semi-colon, but I declined to mention it! I figured that the true meaning becomes apparent after a second read.

Yes, sorry Stalion it was me misreading your thread which is very helpful indeed. I read it first as, do not seek advice from the forum if you have downloaded. In fact the comma would have cleared it and as it happens I ended up doing the same when responding to you. No offence intended I assure you and well done for posting the advice.

  stalion 19:18 25 Feb 2006

yes my fault ommited the comma apologies all round
