the fan on my cpu seems to be runing slow
and is fairly noisy would this cause pc to crash
if the cpu is over heating is there any way of checking the cpu temperature

On my pc if you go into the bios settings there is an option to check the cpu temp. Just hit del as the pc boots up.

Download click here and check your temperatures but if its really noisey i would replace it whatever the temperature.

on newer systems their is a function in the bios to check the temp if you have any doubts about the processor fan replace it over heating can cause freezing/crashing a worst case senario of overheating could lead to a fried processor
