I have a simple home CCTV recorder connected to my wifi router (BT Hub5) via a Cat5 cable. My iphone and ipad receive great HD live CCTV video (XMEye app) via the router whilst within my wifi range. However, the app will not connect when my phone is logged in to anyone else's wifi or on the phone's 4G roaming. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
Also, every two or three days, the router 'route' does not work either (timing out whist within my wifi range), and is only sorted by unplugging and re-plugging the cable into the router. I mention this in case it is part of the same problem. Normal iphone to web still works perfectly during all this.
