i'm running vista home premium 32 bit o/s
for some unknown reason my touchpad or keyboard dont work, the keyboard is in device manager and it states it's working,(but it is'nt) the t/pad however is in dev/manager but is under hidden devices and states it's not present.i've uninstalled the t/pad and reinstalled it but no joy,i've run a performance monitor test and it came back with this (the device synaptics ps/2 port touchpad is reporting "tv_ConfigMgrErr24" this device will not be available until the issue is resolved)but nothing about the keyboard
any help will be welcome

maybe use the onboard keypad and see if that works until you get it sorted.

For vista,
Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Ease of Access --> On-Screen Keyboard

Oops not sure if you need a mouse to work that or not as I have never tried it.
