No internet access

Hi can anybody help me with this problem, my daughter has just started university at cardiff but in the halls of residence where she is staying there is no internet access. There is no wireless network, no lan network and not even a phone line in her block. I've looked at the BT openzone network but that dosn't cover where she is, about a mile or so away is the nearest spot. So can anybody suggest an alternative service/provider who might be able to do what we need.
