I have tried running some trial cd`s from some magazines which I have done before but now I get an error message: The IERUNNER.exe file is linked to missing export OLEAUT32.dll:VarNot.
Also my windows media player9 has stopped working so I uninstalled it and reinstalled wmp7.1 but now it won`t upgrade back to wmp9.I am using win98,any ideas appreciated. novice

i have downloaded the .dll file but I am not sure how to save it to the directory I am a total beginner. As for the wmp9 it goes through the setup no probs gets to the end and says setup cannot be completed try again.

Type system into run. Minimise the screen. drag the .DLL from where it is now to the Windows/system folder.
