No Gateway Responce

Bit of an obscure title and this is an unusual request.

I have just purchased a Panasonic Smart Viera TV together with a Humax FoxT2 HDR PVR and also an N600 Dongle for connecting the Panasonic to the Internet. Not being capable of setting up such equipment, I have had this done by a very experienced TV Installation Engineer. He has done an excelent job except for the last step, so to speak, because he could not get the Internet Option to work. As he admitted, connecting to the Internet is not something he has had a lot of experience with. He tried for a good length of time but in the end, had to admit defeat. The situation when he gave up is as follows - the page being headed

INTERNET CONNECTION A screen came up showing ticks by all of the four or five sections except for the very last one it said#Check Gateway Connection Check Server Connection for Viera Connect
