no connection for website

I have mozilla firefox on my pc and everytime i try to connect to certain web pages i get a message saying "connection refused to when attempting to contact" , can anyone tell me where to go into so that i can remove the block on this.

Open Firefox. Go to: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Security. Make sure there's a tick in ALL the boxes - Use SSL 2.0, etc. Close Firefox, then reopen & browse to the sites you were having problems with to see if they still persist. G

If no luck with the above you can also try clearing Firefox's Cookies & Cache:

Tools -> Options -> Privacy. Click the 'Clear' buttons for Cookies & Cache. Or, click on all the 'Clear' buttons except the Saved Passwords one.

Each time you make a change close Firefox & re-open to check if it's made any difference.
