Trying to drag and drop some WMA files to burn to CD using Nero, but im getting the message 'the WMA files are protected and cannot be processed' The files in question were downloaded from

2 questions;

1) am i right in saying that BT protect them against copying and thats that (unless you want to do something illegal

2) before signing up to any music download site, how do you know whether any tracks you download can then be burned to CD, ie not copyrighted.

Sorry to sound thick, but we all have to start somewhere :)

all recordins of commercial music is copyright and you need the permission of the owner to copy it.

it's up to you if you break the law.

If you are going to download Peer To Peer Networking servers (P2P)Then you must be aware of adware,spyware trojans etc.

Recommended a Firewall, obviousley. Norton Or Zone Alarm is free and good.

A Virus Scanner, I use Mcafee which is great, other prefer another Norton product, Anti Virus.

And A Spyware removal program, like Adaware.

If you dont already have any of these then it is strongley recommended getting them sorted ASAP.

P.S some stuff can be found by searching here, click here and for a browse through some downloads, click here
