New wireless standard out this year

Just read that this year a new "N" standard will be finalised, this explains the rash of special offers on "G" standard routers. I bought the Netgear DG834G with a *free* USB 2.0 adapter, which by the way wouldn't work so I returned it before Christmas, I'm still waiting for the replacement!

It is possibly also a reason for not buying the current raft of 105/108 Mbps products using various proprietary systems that may not conform to the forthcoming 802.11n protocol.

Belkin actually call their high speed range "Pre-N"
