A Lenovo Idea pad Y510p formally Win8 had on screen access to the new style'bios'
It was Win8 but now aLinux distro so no on screen at start up.
Traditionally pressing Delete on boot would access BIOS or ESC in some(Toshibas)So far I have tried all the Salt and Fan lab led keys, without success.
Any thoughts please
It would seem that you have to hold the Novo button.

Thank yu,Wool well
That's the little beast, all done.
An interqwestion point worth remembering
As I recall the well known BIOS bootvpriorty setting once selected stayed that way.
It seems in this new version select boot from DVD is a'one time acces'there after it goes tpp default HDD boot.
