Hi. I just purchased the logitech x-530 speaker system to improve the quality of my laptops sound. However when i got it i realised my laptop only has a 2 channel soundcard (or something) and to be able to hear sound from the central speaker and the 2 rear sattalite speakers i need a soundcard with 3 plug sockets (i think). Will i be able to buy a new soundcard for my laptop? (dell inspiron 9300) that will operate externally, or do i have to take it into a shop to get a better soundcard fitted?

Any help as always much appreciated.
Tom.

Depends on what you want it for, and how discerning your hearing is. If you are into games, then, really you should look at the creative ext scards on this page from scan, click here

Hope this helps
