New PC, swap existing Hard drive (Ubuntu/Windows)

Hi Everyone,

I purchased this punch computed with an Ubuntu system- click here to upgrade from my 5-year-old windows system.

Anyway, a couple of years ago I change the hard drive in my current one to an SSD and when I purchased the new computer, I thought it would be as easy as just swapping the drives and installing the drivers for the mobo etc.

Anyway, I did that but couldn't get it to work and the CD wouldn't load.

I'm thinking, I should load the Ubuntu operating system whilst having my windows SSD connected and then install the drives to the Windows SSD. Then I will re-try loading just the SSD drive.

Any thoughts? i'm not use to Ubuntu.

Cheers

Andy

If you are putting a windows op system on this Punch PC you will need a new license.

So fitt the SSD and do a clean install
