New PC build and problem with graphics card

  aca 09:01 08 May 2005

Finished build. Have installed detonator drivers for Ti500 Geforce card.

Display stays same after restart, and display properties suggest that still VGA display adaptor being used rather than Ti500.
Card appears in device manager, although driver software not in add or remove programs.

Thinking it might be a driver issue have tried to unistall(from device manager as not appearing in add/remove programmes) but wont allow me. Comes up with message saying that
device required for boot (or words to this effect).
Have Via 4in1's

Advice greatly appreciated:
1)How can I get rid of these drivers
2)What is likely cause of issue
3)Is it worth flashing bios
4)Any other solutions

Uninstall and reinstall drivers.

Make sure no yellow exclamation make against card in device manager.

I would not exect drivers to appear in Add/Remove
