New Parallel Printer

  Nick052 12:24 03 Dec 2004

Does anyone know where i can get a cheap parallel (non-USB) printer?

The computer I want to buy it for is exremely old (windows 95) and does not have USB capability.

The printer can be extremely basic (colour not even essential).

I can only find USB printers every time I look.

Hi, are there any regular boot-sales near you. Every time I hve been to boot-sales I have seen perfectly good printers on the stalls (from £5 - £25) lol

There is an Epson 680 going on Ebay at the moment. The highest bid is £4.20. About 5 hours to go.

So why not buy a Samsung mono Laser? also cheaper to run. Mine is a ML-4500 click here

Many thanks - i put a bid on the ebay auction. The option of new laser is too expensive, but thanks for suggesting

Yes, I see your bid on Ebay. Don't get carried away. Stick to your maximum price you will pay. There will be plenty of others if you don't get this one. I had to go 5 times to get the printer I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, but I got it in the end.

Good Luck
