New monitor

  Tony W. 18:08 21 Oct 2009

I have just installed a new monitor. The recommended screen resolution size is 1920x1080.

The problem is on this setting the screen looks distorted. On smaller settings the text becomes blurred.

Also now when opening up pictures in Adobe elements they look out of shape.

Even typing this text it looks blurred in places.

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be.

Many thanks

I don't have a clue. But I will do some research. I'll reply back if I get any information. The make and model might help!

What is its refresh rate set to. Is it 60hz. If you don't now how to find this please tell me and I will show you

Do you have another computer. If so you could see if the monitor works on another computer. Check if windows clear type is on. What Operating System are you running?
