Hi. I have a laptop nearly 4 years old (Maxtech-bought in U.S.A.).The hard drive is 3 gygas and already I bought a new one (4) Gygas).some people say that woldn,t be a problem but now the BIOS doesn,t recognize it. I have been reading about that and knowing about the barriers like the 32 Gygas.
y question is: The only way is upgradind the Bios or there are other ways?.Thank in advance .

The bios may not be set to 'auto' when checking the hdd. Have a look to see if some settings have been manually input.
