New graphics card

Just purchased a 9600gt geforce card and installing in my pc,at back of card it has additional power connectors?,but my PSU doesnt have any spare?,will card still work.

If you don't use it much, you could use the connector from the floppy drive.

Last time I had to do it that way was to install an AGP card. Times (and hardware) change.

its ok i hvae the connector was in box,now on end it has two 3 pin connectors which need to into psu slot but psu plugged in so do i undo that and insert these in its place?

I read up that most cards need a 6-pin connector from the psu.

Does your card have the 6-pin connection at the back of the card .. if so ... here is a Molex to 6 Pin PCI-Express convertor cable.

I know that you can buy them cheaper on ebay.

david i have connector for card,do i unplug the psu cable and put these 2 6 pin connectors instead,thats what it shows me on card insructions.?

or can i plug the power connectors into the spare connector cables?
