New Battery for HP Pavilion Laptop

  William-336251 16:28 27 Feb 2006

I am in need of a replacement battery for my HP laptop but was surprised to see prices in the region of £100. I notice that ebay has batteries for £30/£40 from China. The feedback for the vendor is good but having read the article in PCA about counterfeit goods I'm unsure of these. Can these be bought safely or do I really have to spend this kind of money just to buy a battery?

It's worth googling for HP laptop batteries.

they list various sites starting at £60 for Li ion.

But of course price depends a lot on capacity..

Using a from China seller can have it's problems. Some are good and some very dubious, but eBay usually picks these up. I have purchased many items from Hong Kong, and so far, everything as been 100%.

You could try a UK supplier click here
