HiWindows xp home with sp3.Always had big bulky 17" monitor and today bought the Acer 19" flat screen. Looks really nice with clear images. The cd disk with it only has text user files and adobe ie no monitor driver. In control panel the monitor is showing as plug and play. Should I not have got a moniotr driver to use? Many thanksP
You should not need a driver for a Monitor. XP should load one. But you may need to change the Resolution in Safe Mode if you are having Problems. Also check its running at 60Hz
within properties, settings, advanced its 75 - should i change to 60?
Present day Flat Panel Screens do not require a driver to work not like the older CRT display most are Plug & Play Type
many thanks all.i installed beta's driver and has installed ok - cheers
