networking via a shared 'Z' drive

I am trying to set up a shared office network. I have one pc and two laptops wirelessly connected to this pc for their internet capability.
I did manage to set up file sharing but want it to be simplified. At present whenever we click on 'office network' we then have to click on each others computers, then work on whatever we are doing. Id much rather a shared drive whereby all we do is open the drive and everything is there.

Any ideas?

Why don't you just use the shortcuts in My Network Places, rather than viewing the workgroup computers?

If suitable shortcuts are not there on each client, they need to be placed there through the Add a Network Place wizard from the left pane.
