First off sorry for bening lazy.... but...!!
Today I ordered Virgin Broadband... finally!
Thing is I live in a uni house with other students, 2 of which would also like broadband... So we figure we should network out PC's...
I've never done this before, but I imagine I could with a little instuction... I have a VIA PCI 10/100Mb Fast Ethernet Adapter, and I one of my housemates also has a network card... My question is what do I need to do from there too hook up all 3 pc's so share the broadband connection.. which will hopefully arrive soon... Can people link me in the right direction or offer me some advice on what to do from here... Lastly, can i allocate myself a faster connection?
Start with getting a router and instructions that come with it should set you in the right direction.Also would need a cable modem which your ISP should provide!!! good luck its pretty simple.
