Network Set-up Guidelines

Are there any real help or guidelines as to how to set up a small network?

All of them are standard Pentium II, 128MB RAM, 4GB HDD.

Please help!!!

If you have XP there are Network Setup and Networking wizards to do much of the work for you - there's also extensive information in Help and Support.

Earlier versions of Windows do support networks, but XP Pro in particular was geared to make the task far more straightforward.

By the specs you have posted I will take it that you are using Windows 95, if so click here

Thanx for your reply...

Recap, I want to implement Windows 98 on a network, and need to create a "domain"? or what would you suggest as we have, cause the network should be able to share files + folders, maybe share resources/drives,etc. Please note that all machines will have their own operatng system installed.

click here for some guide lines on networking. When choosing a Network Protocol opt for the TCP/IP protocol as it is the most used of all Protocols.
