NetObjects or Serif?

I need some opinions on these two items of software as I want to use either one for my web designing. The reason being, I'm doing a course which is teaching me web design using Dreamweaver. This is financially out of my range. I have a free NetObjects 7 CD which can be updated to 8, and I know that Serif software also can be got free if it's an out of date version. So if you have tried these and can offer me YOUR opinions, I'd be really glad.

There are several additional free options worth considering :-
click here Webplus 6 you've already mentioned.
Find one that suits you.

You can download a 30 day trial of Dreamweaver 8 click here which is a quite useful short term tool.

Thanks Belactucadrus, I have made a note of all these sites you mention for future reference should I need it.

regarding serif version netobjects. I personally prefer netobjects but both are userfriendly and can produce good sites. However, neither is anything like dreamweaver, so I'm a bit confused as to how they will help you if the course you are taking is on how to use dreamweaver. You could indeed as above download the thirty day free trial, but you can also get it a lot cheaper if you qualify for an educational discount - have you looked into that?

I meant - regarding serif VERSUS netobjects, by the way; sorry!
