netguard and NTL

I have just installed Netguard Anti virus and firewall on my networked laptop
all seems ok except when testing vulnarabilty on the symantic website it shows i have 3 ports open
is this dangerous or advisable
they are
Port 22
Port 80
any thoughts Please ???

have a look at the shields up site, this gives a very good description of the various requirements for safe surfing. Google for the address

Port 80 is for web browsers, port 22 is for SSH, ping is just to allow other machines to `ping` your machine, tells the other machine nothing other than the fact your PC exists at the IP address. You are safe.
