My NETGEAR DG834PN wireless ADSL router has worked great since December 2006 but recently it is getting unreliable. It will disconnect with no warning and it then takes ages to log back on. I have a fax plugged IN with the router and I have wireless phones but why does it take so long to re-connect? I am with BT and they don't support my router. Is it possible I am being bumped off by my ISP and then kept waiting to get re-connected?

It was bad today so I had to revert to my old modem. Got on immediately.

Have you tries moving the router to another position, have you got anything near the router that could interfere with the signal?

Thanks. I have disconnected all the wireless phones apart from one. Logged on pq and it is good for the last few hours. I moved router away from a subwoofer as well and some cables.
