Netgear DG814

  Smegs 16:00 22 Mar 2006

Hello All.

I have just got a New Netgear Modem/Router(4 port).

I have followed the installation to the letter. Everything works on the Router, ie: all lights that should light up do.

But when I try to goto the set-up page address click here, all I get is "Contact Administrator for settings", I am the "Administrator". The TCP/IP is set to "Obtain an IP adress automatically, as with the DNS settings".

When I switch the DG814 on, on look into My Network, it saying "Obtaining IP adress". Then says "Connected".

The Modem/Router is plugged into a Broadcom 440x10/100 Intergrated Controller and is flickering like it's connected to the internet. But when I try to connect, all I get is Page not Available. Also, my Pc is not picking up the DG814.

Running Xp home sp2.

There is NO driver's for this Router.

Has anyone had problems, if so, how have you sorted it??

Thank you.

by entering click here into internet explorer you should get your router login, enter admin and password should allow you to configure your router
