NEREO on the fly

recently I have been having a problem copying my DVD's, I have been puting all my home video on to DVD and everithing has worked well to give other people a copy was ok as I did this on the fly as I have 2 drives but all of a sudden when I hit the burn button the buffer fills up but after 2-3% the buffer drains for no apparent reson. Anybody any Ideas
using windows XP and NERO 5.5

Clear all temp files and run disc defragmenter. Install the newest update...

i assume one drive is on IDE1 and the other is on IDE2?

Yeah Powerless been there done that, that was the first thing I thought, but using NTFS on C:\ &D:\ defraging is not an isue

If you've copied DVDs in the past with no problems then IDE1 or IDE 2 will not matter as it would have caused problems right at the beginning.

well if they are both on the same IDE channel then you can not copy on the fly

who is the system made by and all the specs please

Yeah...

I have the same setup (altho) its a CD-RW drive...Both on IDE1 using a 80wire IDE cable i can copy on the fly no problem. In saying that i've only done it a few times...

i was allways of the opinion that if both drives were on the same IDE then you could not copy "on the fly" as it had to go through the CPU 1st

The system is p4 2.2gig processor 80gigHD in 3 partitions with a DVD drive and a ricoh DVD+RW/+R MP5125A it used to work fine but 2 days ago the buffer prob appeared.
