When a customer of mine switches on the machine, it boots into windows and says expl32 system error, unable to open dialogue.I have searched the great MS knowledge base and yet it seems to have no problem recorded with this message. If you close the error box it apparently works ok. I havn't looked at the machine as yet.I am told it had a trojan virus before this problem, norton fixed 12 files and quarantined 2.
I accidentally posted this twice but cant see how to delete one of them?
Have you run sfc and hd error checking?
There's some info here click here
You could also try going to click here then type expl32 in the search box.
