Need some help upgrading my graphics card for gaming.

My System Spec is:

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz

4.00 GB DDR2 (Capable of 8GB Max)

ATI Radeon HD 4650 Series (1GB)

Windows Vista Home Premium

I am not entirely sure about the PSU its a Liteon i think its 450w

The card i have now is a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 so i am looking for same as that i don't play really graphical intense games because i also have a xbox 360 and PS3 but i am looking at playing the new online game called Rift and Diablo 3 when it eventually gets released.

Thanks in advance.

Windows Vista / Windows 7
Dual Core 2.4Ghz Processor
512 MB NVIDIA® GeForce 8800 GTX or ATI Radeon HD 3870 or better

Those for Rift are :-

Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB
Hard disk space: 8.0 GB available
Desktop Video: Nvidia GTS 250 or better
Sound: DirectX 8.1 compliant card
DirectX: 9.0c, June 2010 update
Broadband internet connection (DSL, cable modem or other high speed connection)

Based on that and your HD is not full you should be OK.

I would get myself more RAM and replace the video card when / if it fails

if you are looking at a card upgrade i would also look at a psu upgrade 450w is a bit light weight especially with the power draw of some of the newer cards

what sort of budget are you looking at

Yeah good point well cheaper the better but when i upgrade the PSU can i put in any wattage i want ? i've seen a 750w on amazon for £38 and a graphics card called a radeon hd 5670 for about £90 which looks better than mine.
