Has anybody got the software CD that comes with this DVD. I have tried the driver DVD.EXE at but it failed. Maybe some kind soul could email the files or send me a copy of the CD as I lost mine during a recent house move. Have blamed the kids of course as more expense is looming!!

Last Resort before chucking the thing out!!!

But should not be needed with XP. What you're probably looking for is the DVD/CD writing software. There are a few free ones around, so have a check with google.

Have searched Google and found driver. It works so so and plays audio but not DVD. Am sure something is missing off CD that needs installing. Thx So far as well!

sounds like you need a dvd player, as barrykeith says there a free ones out there, or powerdvd is cheap, do a google search

The only driver you should need is the basic Windows version.

You are probably thinking of burning software; many people also confuse firmware with drivers, but firmware upgrades can be a risky venture.

Have bought WinDVD and that does not let me play DVD either. Do you think I need a decent Graphics card and not the 'factory' ( basic )installed one?

Only had to use Power DVD. It all fine and dandy now!!! It must have been a decoder error.

Thanks y'all for your advice
