My NAV 2005 when scanning stalls at only 118 files.

I have the latest updates, been to norton web site and scanned from the net, scan ran ok found no problems.

could no find anything on the database, problem started this week before that ran ok.

any offers of advice please. [do not want to ditch nav at present]

what have you installed this week?

Might be an idea to run a couple of spyware applications first.

Personally, ditching NAV and replacing it with Avast did the trick for me.

uninstalling Norton completely from your system, running CCleaner to remove any contents of it left behind then do a fresh install of NAV 2005 and update it then run a full virus check?

just reinstalled NIS2005 all now working.

This option but not be available in future versions as there may be a limit of only 3 re installs.

Turn all other progs off while scanning.
