My Pictures on Desktop Display Menu

I am running XP Home on a laptop. Photos in My Pictures folder also put themselves into the Display/Desktop Menu. How can I delete them from this menu and stop them wandering in future?
Thanx for any help.

You need to move them from the My Pictures folder to another one not under the My Pictures folder. Its built into Windows XP.

Thanx Jester2K. I have moved photos to another folder, but how do I delete those in the Display/Desktop menu?

They should have gone.

If you have used any of them as Wallpaper then you need to find the file in C:\windows and delete it.

Whilst in the menu hit the browse button and goto the Windows Directory. You can see the files there (it'll filter out the non picture files.) Right clikc and delete any you don't want.

Come out of desktop display menu and go back in. The deleted ones should have gone.
