Is my AGP RADEON 9800 Pro graphics card adequate?

I wish to capture and edit High Definition videos, from a HDV camcorder.

Assuming that PC is adequate in all departments, my query relates to my AGP graphics card.
Is my RADEON 9800 Pro adequate for the job?
If not, can anyone advise me if there is a better APG graphics card, which is still available?

I don't know if your card will do what you want - is it possible to give it a try to find out?

I recently got an ATI radeon AGP X800 Pro (refurbished)see:

good luck

Hi, IMHO your Radeon should do all that you require, and I think you would be a bit pushed to find a better one.

Cheers

as far as I know, replacing your graphics card wouldn't make much difference for what you want to do. You do need a fairly fast processor, 1-2 gb ram, and a lot of HDD space.
